I grew up in small-town Missouri and graduated with honors from the Honor College at Missouri State in Springfield, MO, earning my Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. After working for an environmental company in Kansas City for a couple of years, I partnered with three other colleagues and started an environmental consulting firm and was the project manager for that company for well over a decade. I remodeled my first home in Kansas City, and when I sold it, it doubled in value and I was able to pay off all student loan debts and other debts I had at the time. It was then that I realized how profitable home ownership can be.

After moving to the great state of Colorado in 2002 in order to be closer to the mountains that I love so dearly, I dabbled in real estate by purchasing investment properties and remodeling them to be residential rental properties. I wanted to help others benefit from real estate also, so I obtained my real estate license in 2011 and fortunately my real estate career immediately took off.

I partnered with another individual and was part of a top 10 grossing team in El Paso County in my first year and have successfully closed hundreds and hundreds of transactions since for both buyers and sellers. But not only have I sold many properties for my clients, I have also remodeled and flipped houses so I have hands-on knowledge of building structures and also a fairly extensive list of preferred contractors, if you need them. Additionally, I managed nearly fifty rental properties at one time (that number is much lower now, by choice), and so I have extensive experience in all areas of residential real estate. When you have questions, I have answers.

Now that I've gained so much experience, I've realized that family time and personal enjoyment is also an integral part of the equation to a happy life. So while I treasure every minute I spend with my son and have a goal to be the best parent, mentor, and friend to him, what makes my job enjoyable is connecting with my clients on a personal level and helping you enjoy the process of real estate buying and selling.
